Below is the flow of events when you choose to use

Shine Celebrations to solemnise your marriage.

​

• You make an enquiry via the Bookings tab or the "Yes please book me in" button in the footer

 

• You'll receive a great little Enquiry Information Pack via email that I've designed to help get you started with planning your special day

 

• I'll contact you to organise a “Meet & Greet” get together. This is a great opportunity to chat in a relaxed environment to make sure that I am the perfect fit for your Wedding Day!  "Meet & Greets" can either be a physical meeting or we can use ZOOM online video conferencing to catch up and get to know each other.

Once you’ve determined that we get along famously and you definitely want me for your Wedding!  What’s next………

 

• I'll send out a Booking Pack including a Couple’s Journey Quiz.  This Quiz is designed to bring out answers that describe the essence of your relationship in all it’s happy, sad, fun, loving, crazy, grumpy, perfectly imperfect glory!   

 

• I'll then organize a second meeting to prepare all legal documentation and associated paperwork for lodging with Births, Deaths & Marriages.  You will both need to bring along original verification of identity documents such as passports or birth certificates as proof of date & place of birth & driver licenses or other commonwealth issued photo proof of identity to this meeting, there may be other original documents required depending on your circumstances, however I'll advise you of these via phone prior to the day.  Of course you’ll also need to bring your Couple’s Journey Quiz back if you haven’t already emailed it.

• This is also our first opportunity to really discuss your dreams for your Ceremony.  I'll go through the Couple’s Journey Quiz with each of you to learn more about the circumstances surrounding each of your answers.  This allows us to work together to create a meaningful, unique, personalised ceremony that you and your guests will remember for years to come.

​

We’ll also discuss the legal aspects of the ceremony that need to be included and whether you will be including any readings, unity rituals, music etc.

​

• UNLIMITED CONTACT WITH ME - Your Booking Pack has examples of vows, readings, unity rituals, music etc, so you can personalise your ceremony using any of these OR you can totally make up your own…….…this is your special day, customise every element to exactly what feels best to you! 

 

Feel free to email, Zoom or call if there are elements that you want to change and we’ll work together until it’s perfect.  These changes can be made up to 2 weeks prior to the Ceremony.

 

• If you're feeling nervous or feel the need to practice, we can organise a final ceremony rehearsal.  This is usually done a week or so before the wedding, and can be at the actual place of the ceremony at roughly the same time to ensure that the Wedding Party are familiar with the surroundings and that lighting etc is adequate for photos, videos and easy visibility, or we can simply practice at your home to ensure everyone knows how the ceremony will flow.

• On your Wedding Day - I'll arrive at least an hour early to meet with the Wedding Party and the MC.  I'll be bringing a professional PA system which will be set up at least 20 minutes prior to the Ceremony and I also have a beautiful little signing table and chairs available if you choose to use them.   I'll be there to help you relax as time gets closer, to confirm readings with readers & music with musicians, to give tissues to loved ones and most importantly to guide and support you both, to keep you calm, and to create a safe and loving space as you declare your commitment and love to each other and to share in your joy as I declare you Partners in Marriage.
